Jon Gimble, a lifelong Central Texan and trusted public servant, brings over two decades of experience in local government, grassroots leadership, and civic service to his campaign for Texas Senate District 22. As the first Republican elected District Clerk in McLennan County and a current appointee to the Texas Judicial Council, Jon has built a reputation for principled leadership and results-driven governance. His priorities include securing the border, defending life and the Second Amendment, cutting property taxes, and fighting for family values. A graduate of Tarleton State University and McLennan Community College, Jon reflects the conservative values and strong work ethic that define the people of Senate District 22. He and his wife, Penny Lea, a professional musician, live in McLennan County and are active members of Harris Creek Baptist Church.
